Popular Nigerian clergyman and philanthropist, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, has been hospitalized over an undisclosed illness.
The Port Harcourt-based pastor and founder of Omega Power Ministries (OPM) reportedly collapsed at the airport on Thursday, June 29, and was quickly rushed to the hospital.
Apostle Chibuzor, who confirmed the development on his official Facebook page, shared a photo of himself on a hospital bed and asked his followers to pray for him.
“Please put me in your prayers,” he captioned the photo.
Fans and followers have since stormed the comment section of the pastor’s post to pray for his quick recovery.

The Man of God, renowned for his philanthropy, made headlines recently when two viral young men, Happie Boys, whom he sponsored abroad for study, called him out, alleging that he abandoned them.
The former security guards, who gained social media attention after getting sacked from their jobs for dancing on duty, were sponsored to Cyprus on a scholarship along with their manager, Caleb, by the clergyman, Apostle Chibuzor.
However, they recently revealed that the scholarship only lasted for six months as they stopped receiving sponsorship from Apostle Chibuzor after the first six months of their arrival in the Middle Eastern country. ICYMI, Read here.
