The Presidency confirmed this evening that the Archibishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby visited President Muhammadu Buhari at the Abuja State in London today, August 4.
According to the tweets by the Presidency this evening, Archibishop Welby expressed his happiness that President Buhari “is recovering rapidly” from his illness and medical check-up that took him to London since May 7, judging from his meeting with him.
In return of the kind gesture, Buhari appreciated Welby for looking after him in his ‘critical times’.
Adding to this, Femi Adesina, the President’s media aide, he recalled that the Archibishop visited the President in London during his first medical trip this year.
