Former Chief of Army Staff, Gen. Tukur Yusuf Buratai (rtd), has expressed excitement after being flown by his son, Tukur Buratai Jnr, on a recent flight from Sokoto to Abuja.
The proud father took to his verified Facebook on account on Friday, December 9 to share the event.
Sharing photos of him in the cockpit with his son and his co-pilot, the elated father wrote, “A great day 8 December 2022 flown by my son Tukur Buratai Jnr on Arik Air from Sokoto to Abuja. Felt very proud. A perfect combination with his Captain Ahmed Musa. Very courteous Cabin Crew. God bless you all.”
In other news, a young lady identified as Weleski, whose 20-year-old sister just graduated with a first-class degree from Rivers state university has shared a heartbreaking tale of the unemployment that plagues her family.
She shared a video of her sister crying in her graduation gown instead of the usual smiles and explained why.
According to her, her brother graduated with a first class last year and has been unemployed since then.
Weleski narrated how her sister worked hard to achieve her degree and was also scared she might end up like that.
“Today is suppose to be a very happy day in my family but I am extremely heartbroken 💔. This is my younger sister, a 20 year old girl that have dedicated her entire life and worked soo hard by combining academics and being the back bone of my mother’s mini Resturant business just so we can survive.
I watch this young lady stay up almost all night to study just so she could make good grades like her immediate elder brother who also graduated with a first class Division from the Department of medical laboratory science. Today God has indeed answered our endless prayers and my girl has graduated with a First class Division and a CGPA of 4.80 from the Prestigious RIVERS STATE UNIVERSITY.” She wrote in part.
