Mercy Eke, the winner of Big Brother Naija season 4 and popular media personality recently disclosed in an interview with Kenny’s Glow, why she underwent body enhancement surgery.

The media personality was very open during the interview about why she had gone ahead to alter her body and the negative impacts this decision had on her health.

She disclosed that she had undergone the surgery in 2018 and cited her fashion brand and the overall trends of that time as some of the major motivating factors for her decision. She said;

“It was the trend at the time; maybe peer pressure and everybody was doing it. My body was not that bad, I had a beautiful body but maybe the stomach was a little big. I was really scared then.

I didn’t tell my mom because I didn’t want anybody to discourage me. It was me and friends; we planned it and paid for it and the three of us did it together.”

Speaking further on the topic, she mentioned the struggles that she had to go through especially immediately after the surgery, and the pain one had to endure.

“The fact that you won’t sleep with your butt for 14 days. And when you wake up from surgery, you cry for three days.”

The interviewer admitted that the BB Naija star had a nice body that many aspired to have.
