Big Brother Naija housemate, Sammie, has apologized to his former love interest, Angel, for calling her derogatory names during the dirty fight they had on Monday night, August 9.
It can be recalled that the ex-couple had a verbal altercation after Sammie confronted her for kissing the new housemate, Kayvee, passionately in a truth or dare game.
After the fight, Angel accused Sammie of “slut-shaming” her and this affected her mood throughout the next day as she didn’t mingle with other housemates and slept for the most part of the day.
Sammie, who apparently felt guilty for Angel’s mood swing, approached her in the evening and apologized for his choice of words during the fight.
He said,
“Angel, we don’t have to work out but just know the thing you should understand is that we’re in a game whatever I did or said should not affect your game.
“Actually, I don’t know why you’re here but I am here for a reason. It doesn’t matter how it goes with us.
“I don’t want to think that you’re sleeping all day because of me or you have your own issues. I don’t want to know if it’s the period, it’s me or it’s because of what I said.
“If you’re like this because of what I said I’m sorry and yesterday was the first time I heard the word ‘slut-shaming’. I’ve had a lot of female friends but I hardly ever get into a fight with them that I’ll end up insulting them.
“I fell for you not because of your tattoos or the way you dressed.
“Falling for you was progressive. We spoke and I watched you speak. I didn’t fall because of your body, I fell because of your personality.
“If you felt I slut-shamed you, then I’m sorry.”
