Reality TV star and actress, Erica, has shared her mother’s reaction to the trending reports that she and Nigerian music star Wande Coal are married.
You will recall that the former Big Brother Naija housemate had jokingly claimed on Twitter on Wednesday that she and Wande Coal had been married for a year now.
She shared photos of them together and, in her caption, pretended to celebrate their first anniversary.
“Today makes it a year since we got married! Happy anniversary to us.” She wrote.
While it was later revealed that Erica was joking, the tweet quickly went viral and made headlines.
Apparently, close friends and family also caught wind of the news and immediately reached out to Erica’s mother to confirm if she was indeed married.
In the snapshot of the WhatsApp chat with her mother that Erica shared, the actress’ mother mentioned that their relatives were calling her from Arochukwu to find out if it was true that her daughter had secretly married Wande.
Erica then explained to her mother that she is not married and it was all a joke.
Sharing the chat on Twitter, Erica captioned it, “See what you people have caused 😭 my mom sent this.”
