Nigerian reality TV star, Mercy Eke, has lost her father to the cold hands of death.
The serial entrepreneur who was devastated by the news, announced her father’s passing in an Instagram post on Friday, April 1, 2022.
“I’m so devastated at the demise of my daddy. God I don’t want to believe this is happening to me right now. 💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔”, she wrote.
Fans and friend have trooped to the comment section to commiserate with her and prayed for the strength to bear this loss.

The sad news of his demise was relayed on Twitter by his son-in-law, Abass, who disclosed that he passed away this morning, April 1.
He however didn’t disclose the cause of his death.
“Ina Lillahi wahina Ilahi Rahjiun , plz say a prayer for my father-in-law , Dejotunfulu. We lost him this morning 💔. May Allah grant him Aljanah Firdaus and forgive his shortcomings 🙏”, he tweeted.
