Miss Kebbi, Ugochi Ihezue emerged the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria after she beat 35 other contestants to emerge the winner of the 2017 edition of the pageant.
She will represent Nigeria at the Miss World pageant. Miss Bayelsa came in as fourth runner-up, third runner-up was Miss Oyo, while the second runner-up was Miss Plateau.

Meanwhile, Unoaku Anyadike, Winner of 2015 MBGN, has reigned queen for two years as the pageant organised by Silverbird Entertainment did not hold in 2016.
Other awards won by contestants were most photogenic award given to Miss Anambra, Miss Yobe won the amity award and best traditional costume went to Miss Sokoto while the best evening wear award went to Miss Bayelsa.
