40-year-old popular Nigerian singer, Aituaje Iruobe, better known as Waje has reacted after a fan in his 20’s tried shooting his shot at her.
The fan had taken to Twitter to declare interest in the mother of one. “@OfficialWaje how old are you sef? Cuz me am in my 20’s and am thinking of shooting my shot o,” he wrote.
In response, Waje subtly turned him down, while advising him to find a girl about his age.

“You re kind but I’m sure you can find a lovely girl about your age. thanks for the compliment”.

Marriage in this part of the world is held to a very high standard and it would be rather surprising to most Nigerians to realize that some people don’t care about the institution.

The fan with the username @MrSosabillz asked ”when are you getting married ?”
Waje then replied,
“Marriage is not that important o, joy and happiness, health and well-being. When the time comes we will all dance to the altar but till den let’s thank God for life”.
