Netizens have dragged Big Brother Naija reality TV star, Mercy Eke, over her response to Guinness World Record’s message to Hilda Baci.
Earlier, Guinness World Records had responded to Hilda Baci’s congratulatory message to the new longest cooking marathon title holder, Alan Fisher
Recall that Alan Fisher, from Ireland, dethroned Hilda Baci in the Longest Cooking Marathon by an individual, where he cooked in his restaurant in Japan for 119h 57m 16s.
In response to Hilda’s congratulatory post, the handler of Guinness World Record’s Twitter page questioned if Hilda would attempt to break the current record in the future.
“Will we see you reattempt one day?!” they asked.
Their question, however, did not sit well with Mercy Eke, as she fired back at them, stating that Hilda Baci is not going to re-attempt.
She quoted the Guinness World Record tweet and wrote “NO!!! She’s done and dusted.” Her reply quickly gained the attention of many, based on her huge following and popularity.
Some netizens, however, did not like her reply, and they were quick to question her about why she went to the Big Brother Naija house twice.
Remember that the reality TV star Mercy Eke won the Big Brother Naija ‘Pepper Dem’ edition in 2019, becoming the first woman to win the show.
She also participated in the recently concluded Big Brother ‘Naija All Stars,’ where she earned the first runner-up position
