A Nigerian woman has taken to social media to reflect on her failed marriage on what would have been her first wedding anniversary.
The woman with TikTok handle @bolaghold got married to her husband on June 26 2022, but things took an unfortunate turn and she made the difficult decision to end the marriage after only three months.
She shared photos and videos from her wedding ceremony on June 26 2023, and stated that she blames herself for her marriage crash because she was not smart enough.
Though she did not share details of what transpired between her and her ex-husband, the woman appears to regret leaving the marriage.
She captioned the video, “Why did everything happen so fast? I curse 26th of June and blame myself for not being smart enough. It hurts my marriage didn’t last for 3 months”.
In a follow-up post, she revealed that being married turned her into a shadow of herself.
“I’m speechless because on this day last year, I was the happiest person on earth but being married made me a sad person. I won’t forget June 26 in a hurry 😢😭💯 . What is the better way of making myself happy today”
However, she still did not disclose specifics about the circumstances surrounding her divorce, despite several requests from her followers for an explanation.
