Nigerian comedian, Freedom Atsepoyi, popularly known as Mr. Jollof, has replied to those criticising him for supporting presidential aspirant Bola Ahmed Tinubu after bashing him years ago.
The comedian came under heavy fire on social media days ago after he shared a video of himself meeting the presidential flagbearer of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and declaring his support for him.
Shortly after the video from the meeting went viral, Nigerians dug up an old video of Mr. Jollof criticising Tinubu in 2020 over his presidential ambitions.
Well, reacting to the backlash, Mr Jollof has now averred that everything he said about Tinubu in the past was out of “ignorance”.
According to him, he was blind but now he can see.
“Whatever I have said about Asiwaju, I was blind, now I can see, I was a baby then”, he said in part.
Sharing the video on his Instagram page, he wrote,
“Election na competition go and sell your candidate !!! See you on Election Day 🗳 I am BATTIFIED”.

In other news, a video making the rounds on social media showed the moment a Catholic Priest turned back members from the church because they didn’t have their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC).
In the clip, the clergyman said;
“AS I told you last week, Today if you do not have your PVC with you, you will not attend mass here today. When i said it, some of you took it for granted as if I was joking.
We have already discussed this with the school authority that any student who does not have his/her PVC will automatically get a carry-over.”
