Nigerian singer, Burna Boy has a big chance to be the first Nigerian to win a Grammy, and veteran D’banj is rooting for him to bring the award home.
The nomination of Burna Boy’s album, African Giant in the Best World Music Album category has generated loads of excitement.
He was nominated in the category alongside Altin Gün for Gece, Bokanté & Metropole Orkest Conducted By Jules Buckley for What Heat, Nathalie Joachim With Spektral Quartet for Fanm D’Ayiti, and Angelique Kidjo for Celia.
Taking to Twitter, D’banj wrote that he would love to see Burna bring the prestigious award home.
