World’s most famous transgender, Caitlyn Jenner, who made TIME‘s top 100 most influential persons in 2015, is tired of shying away from the spotlight, because she does not want to steal it from her famous daughters.
Now, the septuagenarian says she doesn’t want to stay in the shadows no more. Speaking in an interview with Time, she said:

‘Do you know how many boring photos I’ve taken in my life? ‘Just stand in the background. Don’t get in the girls’ way. Stand waaaay in the back. Not anymore.’ ‘I want to make a positive impact on this community and on the world. This happens all over the world, and it’s something almost nobody understands …’ There are so many issues for trans people. There’s a lot of work to be done. I am so excited about the future, and hopefully I can have an impact in opening up this conversation.’
