A soldier based in the Northern part of Nigerian, has condemned the actions of Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu towards a colleague of his who was arrested for plying a one way road.
In a two minute plus clip, the soldier educated Nigerians on why the Governor should not have treated a military personnel like that.
This comes after the video of the Lagos state Governor arresting people, including a soldier for plying a one way made its way to the internet.
He stated by criticizing the Governor for calling a lance corporal a useless person in the presence of ‘civilian’ and for allowing DSS officials manhandle him in the process of the arrest.
He also added that the governor was arresting his colleague for passing one way but was also committing the same offence.
He concluded by saying the Governor handled the situation wrongly and such can not happen in the Northern part of Nigeria were soldiers are always needed.
In a part of the video he said;
“He’s even calling the soldier useless, Lagos too dey see peace. Lets assume say na North, if na North the man dey now, whey be say them need soldier well well, the Governor go come carry him convoy you wey be say you even dey pass one way fah He also constitute nuisance himself, the Governor constitute nuisance, you are pushing civilians what if they go and have any accident, the Governor is now acting like a tout himself “
