Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Gifty has decried the ills of the use of social media in today’s world.
The reality star who averred that social media is causing more harm than good, said she’s looking forward to a time when social media will be totally shut down.
According to her, social media puts people under unnecessary pressure and there is so much “fakeness” on the gram.
Taking to her Insta-stories, she wrote,
“I cant wait for social media to be shut down totally. It’s causing more than any other. Everybody wants to wear a fitted coat everybody wants to get in the front line. Everyone is packaging just for this same social media. Youngsters killing people just to successful in life.
“So-called mentors/idols having numerous sugar daddies and coming to social media to write shitty things like it’s God’s grace.. Fuck you and dis-grace. Youngsters faking it till they make it (keep faking it until you lose the big opportunity).
