According to National Post, a car in Santa Ana, California, went airborne after crashing into a divider, and into the upper floor of a storey building it went.
The car had two passengers, one managing to get away while the other had to wait more than an hour for authorities to stabilize the vehicle.
The Orange County fire department took photos of the accident showing a white sedan wedged into the building, the rear of the car skewed.
The fire department said the car had been traveling at a high speed, coming from a side street and slamming into a divider.
The occupants of the car were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
