A UK-based Nigerian man has advised his country-folks against being too religious when they relocate to the UK after a Nigerian lady was fired over religious misrepresentation.
The man, identified as Tripple U, speaking in a video shared on his Facebook page, said the lady allegedly lost her job in the UK after she sent a message which was misunderstood by her employers.
The young lady was said to have fallen sick for weeks and was unavoidably absent from work and school. In a bid to notify her employer and lecturers about the reason behind her absence, she sent an email stating that she was ‘strong’.
However, her European employers did not know that she was declaring in faith that she was strong, instead of professing that she was sick.
When she eventually recovered and went back to work, she was reportedly fired because her employers thought she deliberately stopped coming to work.
Tripple U also disclosed that the lady is also in trouble in school because she repeatedly missed classes without giving a valid reason for her absence.
