The founder of Cash App, Bob Lee, has been stabbed to death by an unknown assailant in San Francisco, California.
The 43-year-old tech mogul was attacked in downtown Rincon Hill neighborhood around 2am on Wednesday morning, April 5.
When police officers arrived the scene, they found a middle-aged men with multiple stab wounds, who was later identified as Bob Lee.
Lee was rushed to a nearby hospital where he gave up the ghost due to the severity of his injuries, San Francisco police revealed.
Meanwhile, no arrest has been made in connection with the murder of the tech executive, who was the former chief technology officer of Square.
In other news, a final year student of the University of Benin (UNIBEN), identified simply as Desmond, has been assassinated by gunmen suspected to be cultists.
The victim, who was popularly called ‘Mayor’, was shot dead in his room at the Hall 3 Hostel around 9pm on Monday night, April 3.
The deceased was reportedly in the Department of Public Administration and a Kegite chief, until his death.
A source, who spoke anonymously, said Desmond was shot in the face at point-blank range and didn’t stand a chance of survival.
“The killing of Desmond has caused panic in the school. Students are even afraid to stay in the hostel. He was shot in the face and had no chance to survive the attack.” the student said. Read here
