Nigerian singer and music executive, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has announced his rate for featuring on songs by international artistes.
The ‘Timeless’ crooner made this announcement during a recent interview on the Bootleg Kev show, while responding to a question about his charges.
Davido said he now charges $100,000 (about N46 million) to feature on a song by a foreign musician, as well as a music video.
According to him, he previously used to feature in international songs for free, but that has changed and he now charges a fee. He also mentioned that he involves his lawyer in the process.

In other news, Davido has reportedly moved out of his luxury house in Banana Island, Lagos State.
It’s gathered that the singer moved out of the mansion, which he acquired in 2022, following the tragic death of his son, Ifeanyi, and has now put it up for rent.
Recall that the singer’s 3-year-old son with his wife, Chioma, is reported to have drowned in the pool of the house.
A realtor who shared photos of the house on Instagram confirmed that the singer has moved out of the property and it’s now up for rent.
