Popular Nigerian singer David Adeleke, also known as Davido, has sparked reactions following his recent statement during an interview.
The Afrobeats singer revealed that he is done with cheating, saying he doesn’t want any more problems and is content with his current situation.
According to Davido, he could cheat if he wanted to or choose a polygamous lifestyle, but he no longer wants to because of the problems that come with it.
Using his uncles who have polygamous families as an example, Davido revealed that despite being wealthy, they still face problems in their relationships.
“If I want to, but I don’t because it’s too much wahala. I have five kids with four women. Maybe it’s because I have had bad experiences; sometimes experience is the best teacher.” He said
The singer’s declaration has generated mixed reactions from fans. While some hope he stays true to his word, others believe he’s only saying it to promote his upcoming album.
