The inspiration behind the gigantic eight-layer wedding cake of popular gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo, has been revealed.
The “obinasom” singer and her hubby, pastor Blessed, tied the knot in an elaborate ceremony that was held over the weekend.
Photos and videos from the grand ceremony have been shared online, including photos of the wedding cake that left wedding guests and even netizens stunned with its gigantic structure.
Each layer of the eight-step cake represented Mercy Chinwo’s hit songs in the likes of Excess Love, Na You Dey Reign, and Chinedu, amongst others.

The newlywed released gorgeous photos and videos that show lovely moments from her big day as she is still soaking up the euphoria of the joyful event.
