Joy Bishara, one of the 2014 Boko Haram abductees has become engaged to her Caucasian lover, James, in the United States.
The Nigerian lady, who recently turned 27, took to her Instagram page today, July 25, 2023, to share news of her engagement with her followers.
She shared pictures of her beau getting down on one knee and popping the three-word question.
She captioned the photos;
“I said yes to Love, laughter, and happily ever after with my best friend. James exceeds everything I ever prayed for. God’s faithfulness amazes me daily. I am overjoyed to be starting this journey with the love of my life. Mr & Mrs Loading….”

In other news, a woman has gone viral on the internet after she continued eating her food after a bird ate from her plate.
In the trending clip, the lady was dining at an outdoor restaurant when a bird perched on her plate and started feasting on her spaghetti before flying away.
Although the lady appeared surprised and empathized with the hungry bird, what surprised many was her decision to continue eating from the same plate.
The incident has generated mixed reactions on social media, with some expressing disgust over her choice to eat from a plate that a bird had already eaten from.
