Nigerian comedian, Julis Agwu, who was rumoured to be severely ill, was spotted at actress Rita Dominic’s wedding hale and hearty.
A few weeks back, rumours began peddling that the comedian’s health had drastically declined and it led to his wife abandoning him on his sick bed for his‘side-chicks’ to take responsibility for his healthcare.
Although Julius Agwu’s colleague, Bovi, quickly debunked the reports at the time, his presence at Rita Dominic’s wedding in Imo state yesterday, April 19, further confirmed that reports about his ill health are false.
Videos from the event showed a boisterous Julis Agwu looking all hale and hearty.
Reacting to the video, Nigerians on social media condemned people who are in the habit of spreading rumours about others, especially celebrities.
A Twitter user @CHLemchi wrote, “Julius Agwu liveeeeee at Rita Dominic’s wedding. Same Julius Agwu many of you were writing nonsense about and some became emergency marriage counsellors. Make una dey breathe first ooooh.”
