Popular Nigerian comedian, Seyi Law has shared the distasteful message his wife received from a troll because of his political affiliation.
Recall that Seyi Law stood solidly behind his choice candidate and the President-elect of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, during the 2023 elections. He, however, came under heavy criticism and was bashed on social media for supporting Tinubu.
Few weeks after the controversial electoral process, he took to Twitter to share a video of his recent gig and threw jabs at those who thought he would not get a job again because he supported Tinubu.
He posted the video on Thursday morning, May 4, and wrote,
“Gd mrng to the amazing people who don’t see political differences as a reason to wish evil on anyone. In the minds of some people, God will not allow SEYILAW to have events so that we can say we told him. God is not for you alone. Olori ibu, a ba tanije. This ilaje song is 4 you.”

This sparked a discourse on Twitter about how Tinubu supporters were dragged to filth by supporters of the opposing candidates during the election.
Wading into the conversation, Seyi Law shared a screenshot of the vile message his wife received from a troll, wishing their daughter dead.
“See what one of them sent to my wife. Even more in my dm for not supporting their candidate,” he tweeted.
