Nollywood actress, Jemima Osunde, has revealed that she won’t be the one doing the cooking and laundry in her marriage.
The actress, who doubles as a medical practitioner, took to Twitter to explicitly explain her stance on chores. She stated that it is either her husband employs someone to do the menial jobs around the house or she’ll get help herself.
She added that marriage does not equal manual labour and encouraged people to spend their time doing things they love, instead of succumbing to the societal expectation of a married women.
According to her, she didn’t suffer in her father’s house, isn’t suffering while living on her own as a single woman and also doesn’t intend to suffer when she gets married.
