A Nigerian lady has shared via the microblogging platform how she almost consumed an ice cream worth 13k because there was no price tag.
She stated in her tweets that she had wanted to open the ice cream but held herself back until she got to the payment section.
However, she was informed by the cashier at the checkout section, that the ice cream which she thought wasn’t going to cost much was 13k
Her tweets read;
“One day, when I’ve recovered from the trauma, I’ll tell the story of how I almost licked ice cream of 13k at a supermarket because there was no price tag. If not for this God that said Thamani my daughter, don’t open it yet, hold your throat and wait till you get to the cashier, na so I for cry hot tears come out from supermarket. Jehovah my God and my Friend, thank you o One small cup of ice cream for 13k Even if I’m pregnant, that child will produce dollars in my womb and send before I’ll buy it The funny thing is that I’m not an ice cream person o. Na this same Sharon wey no go put me for trouble that kept singing how she’s craving ice cream, and my long throat decided to also crave. Next thing I remembered hearing was “13k” For Wetin?“
