Big Brother Naija reality star, Pere Egbi has broken shippers’ hearts after he revealed that he is not dating his fellow colleague Mercy Eke.
He shared this in simple terms via the microblogging platform X, asking shippers to take note and cease shipping them together.
Recall that Mercy and Pere became intimate with each other towards the end of the Big Brother Naija All Stars show.
The duo still continued their relationship after the show, which led to quite a number of fans shipping them together as ‘Percy’ .
Pere has now shared that he is not in any relationship with Mercy, adding that he appreciates their efforts and care from the start.
He wrote;
“Dear shippers while I appreciate your efforts and care from inception, I would love to be clear on one thing I am not dating Mercy Eke. So please cease with the flowers mentioning her name. This is as concise as I can be.”
Pere’s revelation has resulted in many shippers wailing and wondering what and why their relationship ended.
Mercy on the other hand, is yet to respond or share anything regarding the issue.
