Kannywood actress, Rahama Sadau, has again received backlash on social media, but this time for celebrating her birthday.
The actress who turned a new age two days ago, December 7th took to her social media pages to share photos f herself and captioned it,
“Ya Allah, Thank you for blessing me with a year full of breakthroughs. 😩🤲🏻💕 HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME !! 🎊🎉🎁🎈”.
Rahama shared a photo of herself in a turtle neck and head tie and wrote a few words of appreciation to herself.
However, a Twitter user replied her by noting that birthdays are not days for one to be happy, but a day to ask for forgiveness from God.
He also said that according to Islamic doctrines, birthdays are not allowed.
In his words,
“This day is not a day that you be happy, Is a day that you ask forgiveness from Allah Birthday is not allowed in Islam.”
