Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed his son will struggle to be as good as him at football. Both are currently on the books of Juventus, Ronaldo Sr joining for £99m from Real Madrid in the summer, and Ronaldo Jr linking up with the academy.
At the weekend Ronaldo Sr finally hit his first goals for Juve, scoring twice in a 2-1 win against Sassuolo.
Meanwhile Ronaldo Jr has already impressed with his showing for the junior sides at the famous Italian club. But the youngster will struggle to reach the levels his famous father has hit in the game – according to the man himself.
Speaking to Bein Sports, the 33-year-old Portuguese superstar said: “I hope that Cristiano can be like his father.
“He says he will be better than I, but I think it will be difficult.” Ronaldo Sr fathered his son with an unknown surrogate.
The eight-year was in the stands alongside his dad’s stunning girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez on Sunday as Ronaldo Sr finally announced himself in the Serie A this season.
He bagged a tap-in before drilling home a counter-attack strike from Emre Can’s through ball to put the Serie A winners 2-0 up against Sassuolo.
