The online financial coach, GehGeh expressed fury and disappointment at the financial step the Afrobeat star, Rema took by donating millions of naira to his home church in Benin, Edo state.
The video clip where Rema spoke of the church’s support towards his family after the demise of his father and how he decides to give back now that he is successful had trended on the internet in the latter part of last week.
GehGeh who is known for giving unsolicited and sometimes unrealistic financial advice to the public lambasted the youngster for wasting money on the church when he could have given to the poor.
According to him, the church is rich already and has no dire need of the money, unlike the masses who have majorly been his fans and supporters. He then calls on Don Jazzy, Rema’s former music boss to call him to order and collect back the money from the church.
