Sarah Omakwu, senior pastor, Family Worship Centre (FWC), Wuye, Abuja, on Sunday delivered a scathing message to those donating looted money to churches, saying stolen money should not be brought to her church as offering.

According to transcripts of the sermon, Omakwu said she was not castigating sinners, but she preferred to miss their money and have them make heaven.

She said; “Any money that you cannot explain to God don’t bring it to this church, if you are in the civil service and you have stolen money, please don’t bring the tithe to this church I say this in Jesus name. You cannot do all that and then think you come to church and say a short prayer, that God will forgive you because of Grace.

“In church today, you see Christian ladies dress and there is no difference between them and prostitutes, what harlots wear to the bar, you wear to church in the name of Grace, nobody can persecute you because the devil has you already. If you are a prostitute here today, I do not condemn you, you are my sister, you are a daughter of Abraham and your body belongs to the Lord. I know some girls do this because they have bills to pay and you the man, you have the money but you cannot help them unless you sleep with them.

“You the man that take advantage of those young girls, what you give to them, your own children will have it too. Bible says rejoice with the wife of your youth and let her breast satisfy you, stop all these strange breasts everywhere. You may say, Pastor why are you cursing us, no I am not cursing you I am praying you out of your depravity.

“If you have stolen money, don’t bring it to this church, I repeat it in Jesus name, someone says pastor we will miss money, yes I will rather miss your money and have you make heaven. Christians should be a standing rebuke to the world.”

    • U are the one wrong….God cannot come from heaven to build church.instead He uses people to build it.this woman built the church so she is physically the owner of the church.she decides wot happens in the church but God is the spiritually owner…..if they ask u who owns winner chapel,who will u say? If u say God and they ask to see the owner,shey u will carry them to heaven and show them the owner abi?

That is why your 10% of your income is being use any how in the house of God. More over, I don’t think you go to church, and if you go.     • If God owns the church both physically and spiritual then who built it? Did God come down to buy cement and rod for her to build it? Somebody said in the bible that “”I will build an alter for God”” why didnt u change the bible and say no.God will build an alter for Himself that no man owns an alter? U for change Bible na

    • You don’t know any thing, pls. Don’t be among those people that always said. My pastor say. Even David in the Bible, build church with gold. He has never said my church. But he said. House of the LORD. Even Jesus christ said don’t turn my father’s house to a market place. Please don’t follow (I never shope pastor) they can miss lead you. My advice for you is this, read and understand you Bible very well. Fake pastor are many now a days. Follow your heart., and your heart is your church not the worldly churches. Those one, the fake pastors have turn it to business centres. thanks.

    • But one pastor said my church. And I said your heart is your church means how you think to others. If it’s good or bad, you think it from your heart. The spirit of God live inside also the act of the devil live inside. My friend follow any one you know that is right. That is your church.

Church is not those big structures u see around, but a group of believers joining together for instruction, fellowship, worship and service. Church was established by Christ to unite Christians together as a spiritual family. So there’s nothing like “my church”, she might just be a servant God is using to look after His children.

    • Need i remind u mr , that we Christians are no longer under the law but under the grace of our Lord Jesus christ… Since Jesus Christ came, a lot has changed in d christiandom(permit me to use dat word)…. Because u have about 5 or 100 translation of jst one bible verse does not mean u knw the meaning and implication of it sir. Yes women are made to b submissive but not b silenced.We have committees or groups both social and spiritual dat r lead by women… If women r not meant to b heard then even a husband cannot take or listen to his wife’s advice or counsel which may lead him to destruction. I’m not into a debate with u or anyone, i jst need to let u knw that christian girls, ladies n women are to b submissive but not b silenced for we r under the grace of Christ Jesus n not under the law… Thanks

    • @Afolabi you have no single point.
      Women are to be submissive to their husband and that is why they shud remain silent in the congregation not at home.
      At home still, they shud be submissive, they shud av deep respect.
      At the same time, this doesn’t mean women are disregarded by God.
      He values them so much and have selected some to be joint heirs with Christ.
      But…
      They must remain “silent” in congregation matters and are not required to teach in d church where men are gathered
      Read ur bible well.

  85. Does a stolen money has it written on it that it was stolen?? Madam money is just a paper bt the value u get from it is the only important thing,if someone steals money God will judge the person for stealing differently,,all the money coming to u do you know where n how they come?? Since it has already been exchanged for a specific service it doesn’t matter again,, for example if someone steals money n use it to buy something,n the person they bought the stuff from brings the money to church what do you say about that?
