A Nigerian lady most definitely has broken the gallant heart of a military man after she rejected his marriage proposal and the reason she gave – although, practical – is just overwhelming.
According to the soldier who shared his heartbreak story, he and the lady had been dating for five years, before he decided to pop the question only for him to be turned down.
The soldier revealed that the lady’s love towards him swerved after he joined the armed forces and was posted to Maiduguri in Borno state and as such, she said she won’t be able to marry him because she doesn’t know when he will die.

“I met this girl for over five years now and we have been dating,she made me to believe that she loves me so much, that she can’t do without me. I showed all the love as much as I can provided her with everything. Two Years after meeting her,i joined the army and I was posted to Maiduguri and I have been there making plans on how to get married to this lady not knowing that she has her own plans.
Since I joined the military, her attitude changed a little bit though I can’t figure out what’s actually the problem.not until I came back to propose to girlfriend with my heart full of joy hoping to get a positive answer, all of a sudden this lady looked into my eyes and said she can’t marry me, we can date but she won’t be able to marry me because she don’t know when i will die.
Since then I have been in thinking mood because I can’t believe what I heard from the lady I love so much.

You don’t have to blame the lady she’s too old to be a widow…you are a soldier and you are expecting to live and fulfill your promise to her am sorry I doubted it…why do you have to risk your life because of this useless country that they don’t even value you guys life’s..our leaders are too selfish and useless to give your life too..I just pity your family and your future that God has for you… please don’t blame her… infact God will bless her as she rejected your proposal..I will advice you to withdraw from this useless military and have a plan and a wonderful future with a great family.. government doesn’t care about you guys..they are the one that is sponsoring them and they are the same person they will asked you to go and die for this useless country..the government are making use of your blood as a sacrifice..God as another plans for you… government as a family likewise you too..but they will never allow any members of their family to go and face war… please if you really love her…you have to withdraw from this military and marry her.. how many of you guys come back safely from the war.. still they burial you guys like a chicken… please withdraw…God will protect you over any premature die.. blood of Jesus Christ will uphold you amen..
