Leke Adeboye, son of the RCCG General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has reacted to the launch of a Christian dating app by the church.
This comes after a branch of the mega church, the City of David Parish, launched an online dating platform for mature Christian singles.
The Parish Pastor, Idowu Iluyomade, had announced this at a forum, stating that the platform will enable singles to interact and find their life partners.
In reaction to the announcement, Leke Adeboye took to his Instagram page to declare that Christians don’t need a dating app to find a partner.
According to him, Christians are old-fashioned and use prayers and the Holy Spirit to find each other, not a dating app.
Sharing photos of couples on his page, he wrote, “Seeds connecting with seeds. We don’t need a dating app! (We old fashion, we use prayer and Holy spirit to find each other.)”
However, he has removed the controversial caption from the post.
