Nemesis caught up with a wanted robbery suspect, Bukola Adeoye, when one of his victims, who came for treatment in a hospital for injuries inflicted on him by Adeoye, identified him, as he was in same hospital for injuries sustained after a gun battle with policemen in Ondo State.
According to Vanguard, Bukola, alias Agbara, who died hours later having confessed his robbery activities to detectives, robbed one Gbenga Babatomi, 48, of Sabo area, Ore, the previous night and inflicted several machete injuries on him.

He was one of the two robbery suspects that escaped from Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, operatives few weeks ago in handcuffs. No fewer than four Police detectives have been in detention since the suspects’ escape.
The other suspect, Rotimi Adeyeye, according to the Police, is yet to be arrested.
Parading the suspects, the state Police Commissioner, Gbenga Adeyanju, said the detectives from SARS, Akure, received information that the escapee-suspects were taking cover in the house of one of their girlfriends, Loveth, in Akure.
Adeyanju said: “On July 17, at 9a.m., detectives from Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Akure, received information that the robbery suspects, one Bukola Adeoye, alias Agbara, and one Rotimi Adeyeye, were taking cover in the house of one Loveth Ogbu.
“A team of detectives swooped on the said Loveth Ogbu, arrested her and, on interrogation, she confessed that the escaped robbery suspects were in Ore.
“Based on her confession, detectives mobilised to Ore and arrested one Felix Eteti, aged 27 years, of Ebenezer Street, Sabo, who is a member of the gang.
“On July 18, at 2a.m., the team received a distress call from members of the public that robbers were operating at Sabo Area, Ore.
“Detectives trailed the robbers to a primary school in Ore. On sighting the detectives, the robbers opened fire on them and during exchange of fire one of the suspects, Adeoye, sustained gunshot injury on his right leg.
“He was rushed to General Hospital, Ore, where he died few hours after.
“However, one Gbenga Babatomi, 48, of Sabo, who was earlier robbed by Bukola Adeoye and his gang the previous night, came to the same hospital to treat the machete cuts inflicted on him by the robbers, identified Bukola Adeoye as one of the robbers that attacked him.
“Items recovered from the suspects are one cut-to-size gun, three cutlasses, one empty shell and four live cartridges.”
