Mixed reactions have trailed a video of popular actor, Charles Okocha, meeting popular chef, Hilda Effiong Bassey better known Hilda Baci, at a recent event.
Charles apparently bumped into the chef, who is currently awaiting confirmation from the Guinness Book of Records for the longest cooking marathon by an individual, but couldn’t recognize her despite showing up at her cook-a-thon venue to support her.
It will be recalled that Charles stormed the location of her cooking marathon in the Lekki area of Lagos state a few weeks ago to shower her with praises during the record-breaking challenge, where she successfully cooked for over 100 hours.
During their recent meeting, the actor couldn’t place her and had to ask about her identity before being informed that she is Hilda Baci.
Charles was clearly surprised as he exclaimed “Ewooooooooo” and proceeded to give her a warm hug. He also recounted how he scarified two other engagements to attend her cook-a-thon.
Sharing the video, the eccentric actor wrote, “Link up with @hildabaci the cook #PHENOMENALSEASON”
The video has sparked a barrage of comments online, with many suggesting that Charles didn’t recognize Hilda because of her wig and makeup.
