A young Nigerian woman has taken to social media to share a sad update on a couple she gushed about almost a decade ago.
The lady, identified as @anafricandiva on Twitter, had in 2014 expressed admiration for the couple after the wife threw a surprise dinner for her husband. At the time, she said she envied the ‘anointing’ the woman was receiving from her husband.
“My friend hosted a surprise dinner for her hubby today. Boy, was he pleasantly surprised! I just envy the anointing she’s receiving now,” she tweeted nine years ago.
However, in a surprising turn of events, the woman revealed on Tuesday, June 13, that the husband she once admired was a devil incarnate, describing him as one of the most wicked souls she has ever met.
Though she didn’t reveal what the man did, she thanked God that her friend survived the tumultuous marriage.
She further disclosed that the man pretended to be a good man before he eventually showed his true nature.
She tweeted,
“All her effort in that marriage went to waste. One of the most wicked souls I have ever had the misfortune to know, that man. At least she’s alive,” she wrote.
