Popular Nigerian rapper, M.I Abaga, has taken to Twitter to give reason for his absence at the #EndSARS protest led by Runtown and Falz in Lagos.
Abaga explained that he couldn’t join the protest because he’s not feeling well and yet to recover. He stated that although he’s not physically present at the protest, he stands with the front liners, Runtown and Falz.
He further expressed how happy he is that the youth have come out with one voice to speak against the incessant killing of Nigerians by SARS officials.
He tweeted,
“Unfortunately, I’m still not feeling well enough to be outside but I stand with @falzthebahdguy and @iRuntown and all the amazing young people using their voices to say #EndSars.”
Recall that, Nigerian top music acts, Runtown and Falz begun their protest against the infamous division of the Nigerian Police Force, SARS.
The two singers, alongside other Nigerians and popular influencers convened at the Lekki toll gate, with banners having inscriptions that speaks against SARS officials.
