The Delta State Police Command has apprehended twenty suspected cultists at a black spot in Ogarafe, Oghara in Ethiope west LGA of the state.
The Delta state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Edafe Bright, who confirmed the arrest to newsmen, revealed the suspects were arrested by policemen attached to the raiders unit of the command.
DSP Edafe Bright, further revealed that one used female pant, a fabricated wooden gun, six hundred and forty-eight wraps of weed suspected to be Indian hemp, charms, Sixteen bottles of codeine, ten packs of razlers, one Grinder used in grinding weeds and the sum of sixty-nine thousand (#69,000) were recovered from the suspects.
He added that the suspects will be arraigned in court soon.
In related news, the Bayelsa State Police Command has arrested two suspected cultists and recovered firearms.
Spokesperson for the command, DSP Asinim Butswat, who confirmed the arrest on Friday, said the suspects were nabbed during a Stop and Search Operations embarked on by operatives in Yenagoa metropolis.
