A final-year student of Obafemi Awolowo University has left netizens astonished after imitating a costume inspired by her mum for FYB week.
It has become a tradition in most Nigerian universities to celebrate the FYB week by imitating actors’ and cartoon characters’ costumes to celebrate their FYB costume day ahead of their Signing Out day after the completion of their final paper.
Sharing on Twitter (X), the lady identified as @_Inioluwa_ uploaded heartwarming pictures of her dressed like her mum to school for the first day of her Final Year Brethren (FYB)week.
The law student noted that her costume was inspired by her mom; the lady had combined her outfit by wearing an undergarment, Ankara wrapper, and a head net with a chewing stick in her mouth.
Her outfit has turned heads, causing many to applaud her bravery in depicting her Nigerian mum on school premises without being shy.
