In a new report, former Nigerian senator Sheuhu Sani has shared a video on his Twitter page showing the alleged Olympic kits that were sponsored by Puma and were supposed to be dispatched to athletes representing the country in Tokyo.
According to Shehy Sani’s report, the kits in the video were freely donated by international clothing brand, Puma, alongside an offer of financial reward to medal winning athletes but was rejected by officials.
Sharing a video of the alleged kits that never made its way to Tokyo, Sani wrote,
These are the $2.7 Million kits freely donated to Nigeria by @PUMA and an offer of financial reward to our medal wining Athletics,which was rejected by Our officials;They instead used Public funds to purchase from other sources;And now the embarrassment in Tokyo.

This comes after we reported that Nigeria’s shotput thrower, Chuk Enekwechi, after making it to the finals of his game, shared a video of himself showing him washing his jersey because it appears to be the only one that he has since the management of the Nigerian Olympic team didn’t provide enough.
Sharing the video on his page, he wrote,
