Saida Mouh, the mother of Moroccan professional footballer Achraf Hakimi, has finally reacted to reports that her son’s assets are in her name.
Last week, reports made the rounds online that the 24-year-old PSG defender’s wife, Hiba Abouk, would not receive anything as a divorce settlement because it was discovered that he owned nothing, as all his fortune was in his mother Saida’s name.
Finally breaking her silence on the reports, Hakimi’s mother said that the news was also new to her because she had no idea.
She further stated that if it is true, there is nothing wrong with her son taking such actions to protect himself.
“If he has taken any action to protect himself, I am unaware of it. What’s the problem if the news is true? If my son does not do this, he will not be able to get rid of that woman (Hiba Abouk),” Morocco World News quoted Hakimi’s mother as saying.
In other news, popular Nollywood actress, Bukola Arugba, has revealed that her father still scolds her in her 40s, even though she is a grown woman with her own family.
The actress revealed this in a recent Instagram post while lamenting her father’s complaints about her physical appearance despite her age.
According to her, even though she is now a mother herself, her father doesn’t hesitate to scold her when he feels she has done something wrong, including with her dressing.
She shared a video that captured her father’s reaction to her long nails.
The actress had called her father on a video call because she missed him, and the conversation was going smoothly until he noticed her artificial long nails.
He immediately voiced his displeasure about the nails, stating that they were too long and did not reflect well on her as a member of the Awoyemi family.
Sharing the video on her Instagram page, Bukola noted that African parents are the same and asked her fans to share stories about their own parents.
“My dad is still scolding me in my 40s; African parents are the same and the best; we love them like that. 🤍 Let us know if your dad or mom still scolds you,” she captioned the video.
