Former Big Brother Naija winner, Josephine Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has found herself in an unexpected legal situation after being invited by the police over an alleged failure to return a rented wig to a wig vendor.
The incident unfolded when a hair vendor accused Phyna of renting a wig but failing to adhere to the agreed-upon return date.
Initially denying the allegations, Phyna later claimed that she had, in fact, returned the wig after being called out by the vendor.
However, she alleged that the hair vendor rejected its return, citing personal reasons.
Providing an update to her followers, Phyna revealed that the hair vendor, accompanied by two policemen and an unidentified woman, visited her house in her absence and left a letter.
The letter, addressed from the Nigeria Police DPO in Ogudu, served as an invitation for her to appear at the police station.
Expressing her concern, Phyna shared her intention to ascertain the purpose of the police invitation.
She emphasized the need to understand the nature of the allegations made against her.
