Suspended acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, has been released from police custody after 10 days in detention.
Premium Times and other frontline national dailies have reported that Magu was released earlier today, Wednesday July 15, 2020.
Recall that the embattled former EFCC boss was apprehended last week Monday and has been detained by the police since then.
He has been appearing before a presidential panel investigating the allegations of corruption and insubordination leveled against him by Abubakar Malami, Nigeria’s justice minister.
Reports also had it that Magu was probed over 380 houses, 7 crude oil-laden ships, N37billion assets.
