A Nigerian man who identifies as @yeankhar on x (Twitter) has called for a protest concerning the increase in price of fufu.
Sharing on the microblogging platform, he lamented about the increase in price of the Nigerian food, stating that one now cost 100 naira.
The user who is presumed to be a ‘fufu lover’ mentioned that he can not keep calm about the high price of Fufu.
In the other part of his tweet, he called on internet users to join him in the protest, adding that if they don’t he would do it alone.
He wrote in the tweet,
“Fufu is now 100naira per wrap. This is my own last straw and the camel don die. If Una no go protest, I’ll do it alone. You can’t come for fufu and expect me to be calm.”
Reacting to this, some netizens promised to join him in the protest while others asked him to hold on till it reaches other ‘swallows’.
