Popular Nollywood actress Funke Akindele was recently surprised with a brand-new SUV in celebration of the success of her movie ‘A Tribe Called Judah’.
On Wednesday night, an event titled “A Toast To Funke Akindele” was held to celebrate the actress’s remarkable achievement of grossing over a billion naira in cinemas worldwide.
The star-studded event, held in collaboration with GAC Motor Nigeria and FilmOne Entertainment in Lagos, was attended by many notable Nigerian celebrities, including Iyabo Ojo, Eniola Ajao, Sola Sobowale, Taaooma, Bisola Aiyeola, Groovy, Timini, Diadem, Adunni Ade, Yvonne Jegede, Simi Drey, Kehinde Bankole, Omowunmi Dada, the cast of ‘A Tribe Called Judah,’ and many others.
The highlight of the event occurred when Funke Akindele was surprised with a brand-new car courtesy of GAC Motor, much to her astonishment.
A video circulating online captures the moment she pulled down the huge box to unveil the luxurious new whip and was presented with the car keys.
