Nigerian talk show host, broadcaster, journalist, and blogger, Funmi Iyanda has reacted to trending photos of a starving lion and dozens of underfed animals at a Nigerian zoo
Funmi described it as a “strong society metaphor”, and explained that ”caging something so powerful and beautiful, reduces it to an unrecognizable version of itself until it dies is typical mindless cruelty.”
