“In di past, pipo bin tok say I no go marry, say I too fat, say I dey on top wheel chair and my leg no gud, I no fine, but you see God come bring me beta husband wey love me di way I dey” Skin care therapist, Dorathy Osaronu better known as Duchess of Onne has the loveliest love story which she told heartily to BBC News Pidgin.
For years before she got married, Dorathy was ridiculed by people because of the state of her body and the physically challenged state she was in — these people made negative remarks about her, saying she’d never get a man to call her own.
But her story has changed after God sent her a good husband who loves her for who she is and has shamed the naysayers who never thought she would be able to find true love.
Speaking with BBC News Pidgin, the Port-Harcourt based skin care therapist revealed that her wedding day was the happiest day of her life where, filled with so much joy she danced till her body ached her.
