One of the RCCG house fellowship centres in Abule Egba was untouched by the fire that destroyed houses and properties in the area and Pastor Adeboye reacted to it. His reaction elicited a response from OAP Daddy Freeze.

Pastor Adeboye responded to the RCCG house untouched by the fire by quoting a section of the bible about the plague passing over the houses of the Israelites because of the blood of the lamb on their doors. The Israelites were spared but the Egyptians were not.

However, Freeze felt the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God was being insensitive in his reaction so he criticized him for it.

Read his response as shared on his IG Page below ;

Dear Pastor Adeboye,
The leader of the #FreeNation greets you and brings glad tidings.

In my humble opinion, you need to get out of the Exodus mind space as our new covenant does not lend credence to the ideology that God would afflict an area with a plague but protect Redeemers while at it.

One house left untouched while others perish is NOT a sign that God is protecting that house, as the scriptures below, from our own covenant, not the expired covenant of Exodus 12:13 that you quoted, affirm.

◄ Matthew 5:45 ►
NIV
that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

◄ Romans 2:11 ►
NIV
For God does not show favoritism.

◄ Acts 10:34 ►
NLT
Then Peter replied, “I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism.

Suggesting that God protected only one poverty drenched house over the others is going against both logic and scripture and I suggest that you begin embracing this reality.

Armed with the vast fund of scripture available today, we are now fully aware of what a sign from God is.

So these easily explainable ‘wonders’ that sorcerers can perform and logic can explain are NOT a sign that your church is on the right path, rather it’s in the one true sign of the superior covenant that enthroned our High Priest, through the blood and the testimony of the resurrection, which in my opinion are absent from your doctrine, if you still need the inferior covenant of Exodus to justify your standpoint.

This mythical concept of magical Christianity has to be abandoned, in favor of a more scripture based approach, so as not to mislead believers and give wings to legendary embellishment.

In another light, should you by any chance assume that we are in ‘Egypt’ under a ‘pharaoh’, can you boast that you are not part of the people that created the Egypt and installed the Pharaoh??

But now Jesus, our High Priest, has been given a ministry that is far superior to the old priesthood, for he is the one who mediates for us a far better covenant with God based on better promises.

  1. I which daddy freeze will read this and get out of his twist life, God is actually telling you he is no respecter of any man as long as you do the tight things accordingly he would be at your help because he created all, both those who accepted him and those who rejected him, but he chose those who accepted him for the best this is the reason bible said eyes have not seen, hears have not heard those things that God prepare for those who love him… Just read other scriptures to draw your point well, God is not a partial he was actually saying in those scriptures but his favorite is the loves ones among all men that he loved to bless.

1 Corinthians 2:9-10 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God..
I think he suppose to prepare the best for all, but here he said for those love him.

I think also he suppose to bring both sinners and righteous into his kingdom and not show favouristism to some group of people who believed in him Mark 16:15-16.
