Bodmas Kemepadei, a media aide to the Bayelsa State Governor, Duoye Diri, has called the attention of the public to reported cases of missing teenage girls in Yenagoa, the state capital.
Taking to his Facebook page today, March 23, the media aide warned people in the state to be careful and also pass the information to their loved ones.
“There have been many reported cases of missing female teenagers in Yenagoa, let’s be careful, talk to your loved ones.” he said.
His statement comes after a 16-year-old girl identified as Besta Pulovie Osigwe, was reported missing and is said to have been missing for three weeks.
Her brother, Osigwe Thank-God Prosper, wrote on Facebook,
“My younger sister, Miss Besta Pulovie Osigwe has been missing for over three weeks now. Please we the Osigwe Family is using this medium to inform the public with any useful information which may lead us or the Nigerian Police to her whereabout,” he said.
